After serving for a year as director on the Newcastle Chamber, Dean moved to the position of president. He resides in Newcastle with his family. He is president of New Think Strategies that offers: Complete Business Training and Consulting Services; Business and Personal Coach; Seminars; Facilitation; True Colors; Keynote Speaker; Presentation and Speaker Training.

Dwight has been an active member of the Newcastle BIA for a number of years, and also as a chamber director. He is serving as past president after a two year term as president. Dwight and his wife Deria are financial security advisors with Freedom 55 Financial and operate their own office on Mill Street South here in Newcastle.

Greg owns the local State Farm Insurance & Financial Services in Newcastle and has been a member of the chamber of commerce since 2007. Greg is also actively involved with the Newcastle BIA. Greg and his family live and work in Newcastle and firmly support the local community.

Deria is serving her eighth year of an ongoing term as Chamber secretary, and is a very welcome addition to the team. Deria and her husband Dwight Hickson, also a Chamber director, are financial security advisors with Freedom 55 Financial and operate their own office on Mill Street South here in Newcastle.

Donna is serving her fourth year as Treasurer for the Newcastle Chamber. She was a Board of Director for the Clarington Board of Trade and served 2 years as their Vice-President. For nine years, Donna was a co-owner of The UPS Store in Bowmanville. Now she has returned to school to further her education as a Legal Administrative Assistant and looks forward to a new and rewarding career. Donna also helps manage The Village Print Shop which is in Newcastle and has lived in the village for 12 years.

Howie joined the Newcastle Chamber in 2008 and is currently the Membership Director. He is an Independent Associate with PPL Legal Care of Canada Corp.

Since joining the Chamber a few years ago, Rob has served on the Board as a Director, including a successful term as president. He is now serving the second year of a two-year term as Past President. As well as his work as a Financial Adviser with Freedom 55 Financial, he has his own DJ Service, Smooth Sounds.

A longtime Clarington resident, business owner & returning Chamber member, Sandra Cousins is one of the Founders of PPL Legal Care of Canada Corporation a subsidiary of Pre-Paid Legal Services Inc. Sandra & her team specializes in helping small business owners, home-based business owners & families with their everyday legal needs since 1998.

Chris serves as the webmaster for the Newcastle & District Chamber of Commerce website and took up the position of director in 2010. His company, CMS Integration, does website development for businesses in the Clarington area.
